Regional Manager / Franchise Business Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

 We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Franchise Business Consultant based in or near Regina or Saskatoon, Canada.


The Franchise Business Consultant provides leadership and coaching to franchisees and the Operations team to achieve company and operational goals. Using restaurant operations expertise, the role supports franchise owners/operators to improve sales, profits, and standards while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement and execute the Operation’s Business Plan.
  • Develop and apply a district-wide plan covering marketing, operations, training, and supply chain.
  • Collaborate with franchise owners to create actionable business plans and monitor progress toward goals.
  • Lead marketing performance through partnerships with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
  • Position franchisees to meet goals in shift management, food safety, quality, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Assess financial health of franchisees and provide actionable advice to ensure success.
  • Support new restaurant openings, from setup to consulting for optimal ROI.
  • Assist franchisees with human resources, training, and professional development programs.
  • Help franchisees establish and execute growth, reinvestment, and renewal strategies.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of food safety, menu compliance, trademark protection, and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or related field, or equivalent operations experience.
  • 4+ years in restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) or franchise operations.

Skills:

  • Clean driving record and ability to be insured.
  • Strong understanding of the restaurant industry (QSR preferred) and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Travel up to 2-4 weeks per month for meetings and visits.
  • Ability to sit in a vehicle or stand on tiled floors for extended periods.

Work Environment:

 Corporate roles may work a hybrid schedule with two in-office collaboration days per week. Remote positions are available for candidates outside commuting distance.
