Cody brings a wealth of experience and not a few significant accomplishments to the table. Having over 20 years of experience in the field of hospitality, Cody has worked every aspect of every position available within the service industry. From dishwasher and busboy to Director of Culinary and Owner, Cody has operated at every level and thusly has an intimate understanding of the needs within the Hospitality business.
After winning the nationwide Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) during his time with CCA (and notably accepting the award from the likes of Jacque Pepin and Martin Yen), Cody traveled to London, England to train with some of the world’s best chefs at Le Cordon Bleu, London. Upon completion of his training in London, Cody felt the call to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. Cody was assigned the honor of becoming a member of the world’s only Airborne Artillery Unit, the 1-321st, stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
After his time in the Army came to a close, Cody rejoined the civilian hospitality workforce. Finding himself working at some of the top resorts in the Valley of the Sun (most notably The Sanctuary, The Royal Palms, and the Hotel Valley Ho) Cody worked under 2 Iron Chef veterans, Beau MacMillan and Lee Hillson. While simultaneously maintaining these positions, Cody was able to open his own catering company, Leone Rosso Catering. That grew to owning Casablanca Rooftop Lounge in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ. In 2019 Cody made a successful exit by selling to STK Steak House and was able to realize a lifelong goal of moving to the Carolinas.
