Hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts, Kassandra Porcaro was born to love seafood, root for the Red Sox, and appreciate all four seasons.
The kind of kid who never ordered off the children's menu, food is Kassandra’s life passion. After graduating from Emerson College with a degree in Television Production, she moved to Los Angeles and established a career in food television, producing for Food Network shows like Guy’s Grocery Games, Chopped and many more.
Working with chefs from around the country inspired her to pursue another dream: culinary school. While completing her certificates in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management, she worked the line at Roberta's in Los Angeles, a restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Carlo Mirarchi.
When she's not cooking or eating, her interests include travel, writing, reading, exploring New York City, and thinking about what she’ll cook or eat next.
