Wayne is a highly experienced and accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in the food service industry. Throughout his career, he has held every position imaginable in a restaurant, starting from a pot washer and working his way up to becoming the proud owner of Stuart's Fresh Catch, a seafood restaurant that received numerous accolades, including recognition as one of "Richmond's Best" by Style Weekly magazine and being one of only two Virginia-based establishments recommended in the Road Guide to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
During his years as a restaurant owner, Wayne gained a deep understanding of the importance of having the right people in the right positions and personally has hired, onboarded, and trained over 300 employees in all aspects of food service. Wayne's extensive experience in identifying and selecting top talent has taught him the qualities that make for an exceptional candidate.
As he transitions into a new chapter of his career, Wayne has set his sights on becoming a restaurant recruiter. He is passionate about connecting talented individuals with exciting opportunities in the food service industry, and he believes that his extensive experience and expertise make him well-suited for this role.
Wayne has earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate to stay up to date on the latest rules and regulations associated with recruitment.
