Oversee food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service and standards, creating a unique and memorable guest experience. Guarantee compliance with all federal, provincial, and local health and safety regulations.
- Prepare annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses, focusing on food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Partner with catering to identify new sales opportunities and enhance revenue. Drive promotions that offer great dining experiences and value.
- Manage daily staffing, assign work, and set performance goals. Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to resolve conflict and improve team performance.
- Ensure staff are trained on quality and service standards, have necessary tools, and are empowered.
- Ensure all food and beverage equipment is operational and clean.
- Set and achieve guest satisfaction goals. Respond promptly and courteously to all guest questions, complaints, and requests.
- Manage local food and beverage marketing programs; participate in system-wide programs. Monitor competitors and industry trends. Review and approve menu design with the Executive Chef.
- Conduct proper food and beverage inventory. Determine minimum and maximum stock levels for all food, beverage, materials, and equipment.
